“One thing I am certain of is that they all had times when lack and money dealt with them. That’s the reason no one should question how they have decided to deal with money” – Chinasa Onwe

Reactions was stirred following unprecedented display of opulence and flamboyance at the burial of the mother of Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana.

Following the trends, Social Media Analyst, Chinasa Onwe took to her Facebook page, and wrote;

If you have read that Igbo novel “Isi Akwu Dara N’ala” you would never be surprised about what happened in Oba yesterday.

“In that novel, Chike, the lead character lost everything including his wife during the war. A soldier took his wife because he couldn’t even feed her. One of the things that annoyed Chike the most was not being able to afford salt.

Salt, one of the cheapest commodities in the market before the war.

Finally, the war came to an end. According to the novel, the first money Chike made, he went to the market and ordered people to take as much salt as they wanted on him.

When the people were done carrying bags of salt, Chike decided to deal with salt. He asked the sellers to heap bags of salt on the ground, he trampled on it. He showed salt that it overpowered him because it was wartime. He marched on salt and showed salt that he is Chike.

I have read lots of things about Obi Cubana since yesterday. His humble beginning. How he lost most of his earnings to El-rufai’s regime in the FCT. How he relocated to Lagos and started afresh. How he also empowered so many young people and made them wealthy.

One thing I am certain of is that they all had times when lack and money dealt with them. That’s the reason no one should question how they have decided to deal with money.

Instead of writing long epistles on their vanity, please, stay focus on whatever you are doing. One day you go blow and decide to show money some pepper too.

Be rest assured that I will also be here to tell anyone who didn’t ask of the source of your poverty, not to bother asking you of the sources of your wealth”

We consider the gist sealed………
